Lots of facilities, indoor pool, playgrounds and the forest nearby. Relaxed atmosphere, great for kids age 3-12. Camping pitches not too spacious and rather close to each other.

Great site.... Not really geared for an English only speaking visitor but staff were amazing.... Shout out for Mitchell who served us in the restaurant one night... Translating the menu for us. Brilliant. Lovely location in the trees... With lots of kids play areas, pools and a kids club. Town walking distance. Campervan service point was very small and I couldn't access it (not got a big motorhome either). Recommended.

I stayed here for two weeks. The floors were dirty when we arrived, our cabin was full of wasps, spiders and other insects. The sheets were already dirty and the showers took a long time to warm up. Before leaving we vacuumed and cleaned our cabin the best way we knew. After coming back home, they contacted us saying that they will charge extra for cleaning the cabins because we hadn't done it properly. We never got any instructions about cleaning the place or that it would cost us extra. This is not a five star camping area, maybe during high season and for families with kids, but not during low season. Our other cabin had mold in it and they claimed that they couldn't do anything about it. It could be a serious health hazard to people. Glad that I don't have to stay there anymore. Customer service could've been better and the cabins were not clean.

I stayed in the Rekel house for a long weekend with my mom and 7-month-old. It was a super cute little house in a nice green surrounding (not too close to the camper fields). What I liked was the simple surroundings, the outdoor patio by the house, the fact that everything was new and functioning, and the pools. What I didn't like was one of the receptionists, who had so much attitude and made my welcome to the park feel rather off-putting. The other people at the front desk were all super nice. But this one woman was awful. You also need to pay €50 for cleaning fees; however, the instructions insisted we clean the house before leaving, including doing all dishes and cleaning the floors. What, exactly, is the €50 for then? I also didn't like that the air-conditioning unit was located in the largest bedroom, askew of the door. That meant it couldn't blow out of the room, just Ino a wall. The house got super warm (warmer than it was outside, even with all doors and windows open), and it was impossible to cool it off with the airco. Some tips if you plan to visit and are not used to this kind of setup... * Bring a fan (to blow the airco into the rest of the house) * Bring your own bath and pool towels * Bring a tea towel * Bring hand soap * Bring toilet paper! * There are PLENTY of pots, pans, cups, plates, etc. * Bring Nespresso capsules for the machine * Bring everything you need to cook (the edible things) * Keep in mind that things in the surrounding area close on Sunday, so make sure you have any medicines you might need just in case I think this is a great spot if you have kids, and the Rekel houses have some nice natural play facilities directly behind them.
