My first service at KwitFit, and unfortunately not a very good experience. I arrived and left my car for the service, the mechanics were very friendly and they said that the car would be ready in 1.5 hours, and if anything they would call me. I didn't receive any calls during the period and when I come back the guy said that there is a possibility that there is a problem in the cooling system, which means my airco works, but not as much to "wear a jacket", and I need to go to a BMW dealer so that they make a modification. He also said he called me, but I didn't receive any calls and the number was correct. After driving home I realised that the airco *doesn't work any better at all* and given the advertisement on the website of KwikFit, which screams at you: "Gegarandeerd Koeler of Geld Terug Garantie", see attached screenshots, I contacted the service center to kindly ask for my money back, because most importantly I wasted 2hours waiting and if I need to go to the dealer, they could as well do the airco service. The guy on the line understood the problem, but he suggested an absurd solution, which is: to drive back to the KwikFit so that they could pump all the liquid out of the system and only then they can return me the money. This solution is ridiculous because firstly, I'll have to spend a lot of time going there and waiting for this operation to complete. Secondly, I don't know how much liquid was there in the system, but there was *some*, and they suggested to pump out all liquid. Thirdly, the guy agreed that if they remove the liquid, the airco will stop working at all, and this is definitely worse than it was, because it worked, but the air was not super cold. And finally, it's absurd, because the 'Hoe werkt de "Gegarandeerd Koeler of Geld Terug Garantie" voor de Airco Servicebeurt?' says "Ben je niet tevreden over de servicebeurt en vind jij dat jouw airco niet beter koelt dan voor de servicebeurt? Dan krijg je zonder ‘gekibbel’ jouw geld terug.", which is the opposite of what I've got. To summarise: polite and friendly people, but very unreliable when it comes to solving problems and keeping promises :-( UPD 04.08.2019: KwikFit contacted me via email and made a full refund.

Quick efficient service at a decent price.

No coolant in my car after a service, disgrace! Also I have now found a small stone in my brake pads 2 days after getting a service, this is the third time - very mysterious. I would rather put a pencil in my eye than ever return to this terrible business!

Kwik fit as a company needs to be applauded. The mechanics are honest and do not do work unless it is needed. Or that's the experience that I have had time and time again. Achterom in Hilversum is no exception. They could not carry out the repair that was booked and after they checked out the car, at no cost, sent me on my way. Disappointed that the car was not repaired, but satisfied that they had not taken a sharp intake of breath and proposed an expensive alternative while I was stuck there in the workshop.
