★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just had a lovely meal at Balraj and are still dreaming of the food. The dishes were delicious, our host extremely friendly and attentive and the overall price was more than fair. Can absolutely recommend it for a culinary visit to India. We hope we come back some day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great food and friendly staff. Seems homely and authentic. We had a lamb Madras and a prawn jalfrezi - so many prawns compared to other restaurants which give you 2/3!!! Naan bread too was incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I experienced my visit to Balraj as pleasant. Very kind people and the food was delicious. The meat (jalfrezi lamb and butter chicken) were well cooked, the taste of curry and tandoori were excellent and I liked the good taste of the garlic naan. I will come back for sure and I recommend Balraj to everyone. Thanks a lot guys. You were very nice to us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, we really enjoyed everything we ordered, and the portion sizes were good. The only small remark is that it would have been great to have choice with how mild or hot the curry was. The waiters were polite and friendly.

The hosts are warm and welcoming and go the extra mile to make your dining experience memorable.
Not on the delivery services ao remember to go to their website to order food for take away or home delivery in the surrounding Amsterdam centrum area.
Really good food, from an indian who is a foodie... Surely you must eat here when in Amsterdam

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The starters where really flavourful and authentic Indian preparation. Although the portion size of main course was really sufficient for more than 2 people. The spice combination in the meat dish lacked a certain zing. All this to say one of the very few authentic Indian restaurants.
