About Barista Café
Wat in 2009 begon als een droom om de beste koffie te serveren in Alphen aan den Rijn, is nu uitgegroeid tot een Coffee Concept met meer dan 20 vestigingen. Het doel was om een gezellige ontmoetingsplek te creëren waar iedereen kon genieten van prachtige en ambachtelijke producten. Jaren later blikken we terug en zien we dat onze gasten ons waarderen voor de aandacht die wij ieder product geven en de aandacht die we aan de gast zelf besteden. Barista Cafe is daarmee een begrip geworden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today was our last attempt to let them prove themselves. That didn't go well. Just like the last two times we've visited, not everything was in stock, so choices were limited. The time before today they served us a meal without all the ingredients, because they didn't had everything. That was a boring sandwich. After complaining we've received a couple of stamps on a card for a small coffee.
That coffee was okay, but not Batista worthy. It was medium warm as well.
Today was there last chance, they didn't take it. I left my free coupons on there table. I will not be coming back, even if it was for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 30 minutes for a cold brie melt which was not properly made to begin with and a wrap with so little spread and loosely wrapped that it fell apart (about 2 of six pieces had filling). Then when complaining about the melt it took another 30 minutes before I lost my patience and decided to just pay without eating. Note in this that they had two girls dedicated in the kitchen and about 30 patrons of which half wanted food.
Very dissapointed. Not at all similar to my other experiences with the franchise in other cities

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The coffee here is very good, and I tried the tuna quesadilla, which was also tasty. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the place was quite cosy and nicely decorated, with a beautiful bicycle mounted on the wall and a lot of plants, including a spectacular cactus. The position of the café is also very good for students who have a short break at Uni, as it can be reached shortly by bike from the campus.
