★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boven het dorpscafé Bartje is een zaal van "Bartje Boven". Gezellige zaal met eigen opgang, trap naar boven (geen lift en dus niet bereikbaar voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn), eigen bar en eigen heren- en damestoiletten. Zaal biedt ruimte voor maximaal 100 mensen (lijkt ons wat veel). Wij waren met 45 gasten die eerst rond de statafels stonden en bij het buffet werden er tafels bijgezet. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Eten is prima. In de wintermaanden is het Duits buffet een aanrader. De prijs is zeer redelijk. De verhouding kwaliteit en prijs is prima.
 Above the village pub Bartje is a room of "Bartje Boven". Cozy room with private entrance, stairs to the top (no lift and therefore not accessible for people with walking difficulties), private bar and private men's and ladies' toilets. Room offers space for up to 100 people (seems a lot to us). We were 45 guests who first stood around the bar tables and at the buffet tables were added. Staff very friendly. Food is fine. In the winter months the German buffet is recommended. The price is very reasonable. The quality and price ratio is excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelopen donderdag zou ik naar een kleine meet&greet van twee Amerikaanse artiesten gaan. Dit zou bij (niet aanbevolen) B&B Velserhoeve zijn maar daar hebben de nonsensicale eigenaren ons weggestuurd (uitgebreide recensie is te vinden onder de Google pagina van de B&B).
Vervolgens gingen wij naar Bartje en we werden met open armen ontvangen. Ze vonden het gezellig dat we muziek kwamen spelen en bij hun wilde zitten. De andere bargasten leken het ook leuk te vinden. Zo ontzettend dankbaar dat we daarheen konden! Super goede bar!
Last Thursday I was going to a small meet & greet by two American artists. This would be at (not recommended) B&B Velserhoeve but the nonsense owners have sent us away (extensive review can be found under the Google page of the B&B).
We then went to Bartje and were welcomed with open arms. They enjoyed the fact that we came to play music and wanted to sit with them. The other bar guests also seemed to like it. So very grateful that we could go there! Super good bar!
