★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super kind host at the bar. He said that the place is almost 450 years old. The atmosphere kust brings you back into time and the view and front terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy the center of spaardam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a charming little town. This restaurant is on the water and the waiter is wonderful and his English excellent. Food is cheap and very good. The local Hansji Bier is fabulous and make sure you get the glass with hole in it and story behind it. This is the little Dutch boy's story and town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this when looking for a quick stop en route back to the ferry at Ijmuiden (which is only about 20 minutes away.) Lovely picturesque location right on the water's edge. Friendly and quick service, tasty snacks and good coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by here randomly while bike touring through the area. What a great place!! The food and coffee were excellent and the service was outstanding. The highlight were the stories told by the owner (Leon). If you stop by, ask about Hans Drinker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice little restaurant on the side of the water. It's one of the quietest place I have sat for lunch. Everyone seemed to be mindful of other people. The servers are very nice and the food is also pretty good! Sitting here in the sun after a walk in the area was delightful.
