★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff working on Saturday noon time didn't really look happy working so as a result the service was extremely poor and unfriendly. The Barista was trying her best and was sweet and helpful. The cheese croissant didn't taste fresh and the cheese was burnt and dry (that's what I usually order at least once a week). Will still go just for the fact that the Baker is absolutely sweet and ofcourse the dog.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bas Bakt is my favorite bakery in Rotterdam! It smells so good in there and their staff is very friendly. They bake everything in the bakery itself and you can see everything. So cool! Their bread is so delicious and all their pastries are truly devine! I highly do recommend their 'boterhammen' for lunch (on the pic avocado/kimchi boterham and homemade ice tea). Also available : veggie/vegan alternatives (for lunch, oat/soya milk in your coffee,...). Impossible to leave the bakery without buying bread or any other deliciousness :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here on a Monday. It is one of the few coffee spots open before 10am in the area and their coffee is excellent. I had an oat milk cappuccino and cinnamon pastry. All of their baked goods look and smell amazing. Friendly staff, good music, and a chill neighborhood vibe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely atmosphere and very good service. I visited Bas Bakt for a quick coffee before work and I was really satisfied by the quick pitstop: the staff is really friendly and the decor very welcoming, the friendly company dog is also a great plus.
They serve quite sour coffee, close to the taste of a decaf. I do prefer bitter coffees but it was a very nice blend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place! A bit hidden, so hard to spot if you don’t know about it, but definitely worth a visit. Have been here a couple of times by now and their quality is kind of always through the roof! Their cappuccino is amazing, and so is basically anything they bake. We’re fond of their croissants and peanut/chocolate cake, among other things. In short, have a go!
