“In de periode dat we aan het verbouwen waren, stond er een pallet met Kornuit-bier buiten en ben ik overal blikjes gaan uitdelen. We hebben heel de wijk uitgenodigd op de koffie. Zo hebben we eigenlijk heel de buurt betrokken en de meeste komen nog regelmatig een bakkie bij ons doen. Nu na vijf jaar is dit het. Dit zijn wij. De mensen waarmee we werken, de dingen die we maken. Alles klopt. We varen onze eigen koers en nemen niet de mening van anderen maar klakkeloos over. De gasten die hier komen denken mee en beïnvloeden ons en daardoor ontstaan onze ideeën. Niets is van tevoren uitgedacht. Daarom is het anders en hebben we een sterke identiteit”, vertelt de inmiddels doorgewinterde horecavrouw met trots.

β β β β β Absolutely fantastic! From the atmosphere to the food & drinks. A great place to sit with family & friends, share some fine cuisine and have a good laugh.
The dishes are great for sharing (in fact this is the intent!), with a nice variety for all taste. Flavours are well defined and very well balanced. I will be back!

β β β β β The food took around 40 minutes to come. I never complain about these things because I understand how busy it gets. But the food was horrible. The camembert was sunk in oil and had no taste. The shrimps were again sunk in oil, no salt, no taste, seemed like boiled shrimps. We ordered some other things, no good either. Quite an unfortunate choice.
In response to the restaurant's response: indeed, we do hate to throw away food, and that's why we ate most of 2 of the 3 dishes. However, we couldn't manage the third one, we literally ate 2 shrimps and the rest were left in the table. The problem was not that it was oily, the problem was the the only thing in the dish was pure oil, with absolutely no taste.
Besides that, the consumer can provide feedback on the spot or not, and that's not a proof that the food was good. To be a bit more specific, they did ask us a couple times if the food was good, but I did not think it was a good moment to provide any feedback. The restaurant was completely full, nobody asked us for the QR code when we entered (which is by the way compulsory in the NL). We were sited in a ridiculously small table surrounded by way too many people and with very little to non-room to move. The fact that the restaurant's owner replies in this way to the feedback from their clients says a lot about the whole experience.

β β β β β Nice ambience. Good service Good food. Chef stopped by the table to see how we liked the food. Would definitely dine here again. This is a sharing food concept which allows your party to taste various dishes or you can have it all for yourself.

Taste: average taste and good presentation. However, not specially good. Ordered different dishes and none of them really got us hooked.
Restaurant: comfortable and colourful interior design.
Service: personnel is friendly and attentive
Price: quite expensive
