I like the fact that BAUNAT has an office where I can visit and see the jewelry in person so I can compare options more closely. However, even if I cannot come to the office, everything on the website is already very clear and helpful.
The ordering process is very personal. I get update on every steps happening to the process. Once the jewelry is ready, we arranged the shipment so I could be prepared to receive it. This really put an easy on my mind knowing that I will personally get the shipment and it will not end up in my neighbor or some post offices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Baunat is a company with an excellent price-quality ratio but unfortunately the expertise and customer service is severely lacking. Should you consider buying a decent ring, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
I met with Baunat in Amsterdam and was impressed with their wonderful office at the canals, their kind hospitality, and the rings that they presented.
After some consideration and research at competing firms, I decided to buy a 2 carat diamond ring at Baunat.
We received the ring early August, just before I wanted to propose. After the “yes”, a lengthy and horribly frustrating 4-month process started to get the ring to the right size.
Baunat was not able to provide proper advise on re-sizing or picking the appropriate width of ring. Furthermore, the Country Head made no effort to manage our expectations with respect to the long periods of time needed to get the ring re-sized 3 times. The reason why we needed their expertise is that we – or better I, as probably most men, don’t have a lot of experience buying diamond rings – and her knuckle is slightly wider than the rest of the finger.
The lack of expertise and customer service, is a disgrace for a jeweler in this category that tries to compete with firms like Tiffany, Cartier, etc.
I strongly recommend purchasing a ring elsewhere, specifically if you’re in the market for an decent-sized diamond ring.
It seems they significantly lack experience in this category, and also the service is simply lacking to what you may expect!

Of all my research and experience, I think Baunat has the best price-quality. I ordered a tennis bracelet with only 2 weeks to spare for the wedding anniversary, and they made this beautiful piece well in time for me to surprise my wife. We love the craftsmanship and service by Olivia in Amsterdam. Would highly recommend it.
