Overal waar de romeinse legers kwamen werden de bomen aangeplant.De tamme kantanjes in het Kastanjedal zijn daar de nakomelingen van. Eén van de bomen is uitgegroeid tot een reis. Hij wordt de "kabouterboom" genoemd en heeft een stamomtrek van meer dan 8 meter! De leeftijd wordt geschat op meer dan 400 jaar!

One of the trees has become a journey. It is called the "gnome tree" and has a trunk circumference of more than 8 meters! The age is estimated at over 400 years!
