Oorzaken van allergie
Het is niet echt duidelijk waardoor allergieën ontstaan. Wel is bekend dat hierbij verschillende factoren van invloed zijn. Zo spelen bijvoorbeeld hygiëne, erfelijkheid en leefstijl een rol bij het ontwikkelen van allergieën.
Heeft u eenmaal een allergie ontwikkeld, dan krijgt u een allergische reactie als u wordt blootgesteld aan de stof (‘prikkel’ ofwel ‘allergeen’) waarvoor u overgevoelig bent. Deze prikkel is op zich niet schadelijk. Maar als u er allergisch voor bent, handelt uw lichaam alsof er wél een schadelijke stof is binnengekomen. Uw lichaam gaat zich verdedigen tegen de prikkels/allergenen met een afweerreactie. Daardoor ontstaat de allergische reactie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife woke up with terrible pains and sent me to the pharmacy. I just had the name of the medicine in France, and of course it was not the same as in the Netherlands. The ladies were very understanding and took time to contact people to find the equivalent of the medicine I was looking for. It took some time but it saved our day ! Since we were supposed to leave the hotel in a few hours, it could have become a real problem ... Many thanks !

I returned to BENU to see if they could help. They absolutely did and were wonderful in making the required calls in order to fix the issue. They went above and beyond in helping me and I was and am very, very grateful for their help. I can't say enough nice things about them. Thank you BENU!!!
