★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly service but extremly slow. Waited for a burger for exactly 1 hour. To make it worse people that came and ordered their food after we did got it before us (also burgers). Good selection of lagers and blond beers. If you like your burger medium don't go here you just get it well done by default.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a really lovely lunch. They were able to seat 10 of us and were super friendly during our lovely meal. Everyone was impressed with their food. “Best gluten-free sandwich I’ve ever had” - was my sister-in-law’s comment. Would definitely visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing, after reading good reviews I decided to have a lunch in Bij Hem. Started with the pumpkin and onion soup, 15 min waiting time, a bit watery and both soups lacked of seasoning. Onion soup comes with melted cheese on a toast. Then we’ve been waiting 50 minutes (!!) for a burger from a special menu , with deer, champignons, grilled veggies and fried potatoes s with rosemary. It’s impossible to taste the venison (if there is any) , frozen meat (mixed, like paté, hardcore well-done, almost like a stone), cold - sweet albert-hijn quality buns (just put them on the grill), a few green leafs, spoon of butter/mayo and 4 slices of champignon for 18€!!!! I really expected something amazing from the special menu and waiting time but it was far away from any standards. Good and friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I’ve seen they have more than a hundred gin-tonic combinations. Maybe this is where all these good reviews come from. Remove this burger from the menu and take care of your soups!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today we were at this restaurant for Lunch. The food tasted good, but when we were serving Pasta Vongole, which has Clam in it, we found a Clam full of mud. So we asked the waitress and the chef to check it, and they calmly confirmed that it is indeed mud!!!! They offered no excuses at all and were treating it just as a normal incident. This is absolutely not normal and not accepted. No respect for the customer and no care for the food quality, therefore I only give one star.
