Very expensive! Charged me €48 for a simple service. No repairs. Will not be returning.

Nice little bike shop with helpful staff, mostly on the omafiets and related bike parts line. They also have a fairly large repair shop section so if you need something fixed, it's a good choice to.

Took my bike to the shop for repair with a simple issue (two spikes broken). The guy saw the issue, said ok but when looking at the shop tag from another store, said they dont repair it and I should call the place where I bought it. Weird. not customer friendly, approach

At first the bike mechanic accepted my bike for repair, saying it would be easy and cost around 20 euros. Then he noticed the sticker on the fender from another shop, which they apparently dislike. The mechanic then announced that I should immediately return the bike to the seller, because it is complete garbage and impossible to repair (it's almost new Batavus with trivial mechanical issue). He claimed it is Bikes and Boards policy to reject all bicycles sold by the other shop, as all of them are supposedly broken beyond repair, and recommended that I should instead purchase a new bike from Bikes and Boards. Yeah, surely dude. Another employee listened to the conversation and did not intervene in any way, so I guess it is their ridiculous policy to turn their customers away. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism in this place.

I have only visited them twice and the experience was negative. First time they told me that my bike is fine, the second time they've estimated repairs at 220 Eur! I had my bike fixed for 19.90 at the Muiderpoort train station. Otherwise, they are nice, friendly people this is why I've rated them two and not one.

I don't usually give negative reviews, but it describes my experience at this store. I took my B'twin bike and asked them to please fix a flat tire and a dynamo, and they refused to fix the dynamo because they claimed it was a "bad quality and cheap bike" [after 3 years of not having had any issue with it] and therefore it wasn't profitable for them to fix issues like that. Maybe we were lost in translation, but if I cannot get a 300-euro bike fixed at a bike store, then I wonder what kind of service they offer. After I expressed my discontent, they finally fixed the dynamo, so I guess thanks for that.
