Bevor es in der Zeitung stand waren dort nur ein par Engel aufgehängt und man erkannte die ursprüngliche Bedeutung unseres stumpfes (ein bisschen ähnlichkeit mit "engelsflügeln"). Mittlerweile ist er nur noch "zugemüllt". Es gibt mittlerweile schon 4 von diesen "Schönheiten"!
Just a "trashed" stump.
Before it was in the newspaper, there were only a few angels hung there and one recognized the original meaning of our stump (a bit similar to "angel wings"). In the meantime it is only "trashed". There are now 4 of these "beauties"!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk, zo'n versierde boomstronk in het bos, zoals je die steeds meer en meer tegen komt. Ik kende ze al uit de Nijmeegse bossen, maar in Duitsland komt het dus ook voor.
Lijkt me prachtig voor kinderen om daar naar toe te gaan om te kijken wat er nu weer is veranderd en er zelf spulletjes aan toe te voegen en - vooral - er allerlei verhalen omheen te bedenken.
Nice, such a decorated tree stump in the forest, as you come across it more and more. I already knew them from the Nijmegen woods, but it also occurs in Germany.
I think it would be wonderful for children to go there to see what has changed and to add things themselves and - above all - to come up with all kinds of stories around it.
