 Just an average restaurant in terms of quality and price level. Wine list is okay.

Begeleidend praatje van personeel over eten en bijpassende wijn is bedroevend.
Prijs die je hiervoor moet betalen is geheel de weg kwijt.
Wellicht proberen ze hier een achterstand opgelopen door Corona regime in te halen? Gaat niet meer bij mij lukken, wij komen hier niet meer.
Update nav telefonisch contact met Bistro Louis. Goed gesprek met eigenaar over geplaatste review. Kwamen samen al snel tot conclusie dat de op die avond aanwezige grote groep mensen e.e.a. niet heeft geholpen met sfeer bepaling. Ook bediening heeft deze avond hierdoor mogelijk wat aandacht onverhoopt laten slippen.
Samen overeengekomen dat mocht ik weer in de buurt van Oss zijn ik graag een herkansing oppak om Bistro Louis te laten zien dat andere reviews het juiste beeld laten zien van fit restaurant.

Good food but otherwise not really special.
Accompanying staff talk about food and wine pairing is upsetting.
The price you have to pay for this is completely lost.
Perhaps they are trying to catch up here due to the Corona regime? Won't work for me anymore, we won't come here anymore.
Update following telephone contact with Bistro Louis. Good conversation with owner about posted review. They soon came to the conclusion that the large group of people present that evening did not help with setting the atmosphere. The service may also have let some attention slip this evening.
Together we agreed that if I was in the vicinity of Oss again, I would like to take a second chance to show Bistro Louis that other reviews show the correct image of a fit restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not be exaggerating if I say this was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to and I have been to quite some Michelin star restaurants! The flavors were rich, complex and really amazing. This restaurant is a must try if you are visiting Oss.
One last note, the dessert in the picture; AARDBEIENSLOF, is just the most delicious dessert ever!
Thanks so much to the restaurant staff who really gave us a great experience and evening.
