★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place itself is beautiful and cozy. The service was quite the opposite. After some waiting we asked for the menu, waited for 20minutes and still couldn't get it. Asking anothing waitress and after 10~15 minutes we got the menu. It wasn't the lunch menu anymore, but the dinner one.. After that they asked about three times if we wanted something to drink while our drinks were still full. In short, great cozy place but if you go around 16.00 then you will have to eat dinner there.

After searching for decent restaurants in Oss we decided to settle with this restaurant. As starter we choose the meat platter and it was amazing. Unfortunately we had to wait extremely long before they served it, but it was amazing. As main course we both ordered a steak, rare of course. After a while we were asked whether they could serve out the steak. We replied affirmative and not more than a minute later we had the steaks in front of us. Quite strange in our eyes, because these couldn't be fresh. After cutting the steak, it indeed looked like they kept it warm under a lamp. Even worse, it was far from rare and lost all it's taste.
After sending it back to the kitchen, the waitress told us that the cook said he couldn't cook it more rare or else it would be cold on the inside. (how hard can it be to cook a steak the right way!?!?)
Of course we settled with a colder steak, because no way we were going to eat it medium.
In the end, the steak tasted amazing (even though it was colder on the inside). But I'm not going back here as long as the cook doesn't understand his job!
