★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik kende het vorige restaurant Zocher. Altijd lekker gegeten, maar Sjiek is nieuw, fris echt iets voor deze tijd.
Heerlijk gegeten met gerechten uit het zuiden van Europa en die heerlijke uiensoep. JA uiensoep. niet normaal. Top wijnen en net buiten de drukte van de stad. Een aanrader.
I knew the previous restaurant Zocher. Always good food, but Sjiek is new, fresh really something for this time.
Delicious eaten with dishes from the south of Europe and that delicious onion soup. YES onion soup. not normal. Top wines and just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit is helaas een tegenvaller. Rustige tafelzetting. Maar het eten is echt niet waar je voor betaalt. Als je 18 euro betaalt voor coquilles moet er echt wat meer zijn dan 2,5 kleine stukjes met saus. Geen brood geen boter. En hoofd “vis van de dag” een karig stukje heilbot met te zure saus klopt niet met 36.- pp.
Als je dan zegt dat je “de saus te zuur vindt” mag de reactie niet zijn: kwestie van smaak… daarnaast sanitair vies. Prima in eetcafe. Niet waar je 150 euro betaalt voor voor en hoofd.
This is unfortunately a setback. Quiet table setting. But the food is really not what you pay for. If you pay 18 euros for scallops, there should really be more than 2.5 small pieces with sauce. No bread no butter. And main "fish of the day" a scant piece of halibut with too sour sauce is not right with 36.- pp.
If you then say that you “find the sauce too sour” the reaction should not be: a matter of taste… also sanitary dirty. Fine in eatery. Not where you pay 150 euros for a head.
