★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The first thing I noticed was the swarms of flies. The second was that no burger was available before 1700, despite the name of the place. When I received my order: soup of the day that was supposed to be mustard soup, it looked pretty good. It had two bread pieces with melted cheese and onion to go with it.
Unfortunately it tasted a bit plasticy, leading me to theorize that it was a bag soup. It was way too sweet and I had a hard time finding the savory tang that mustard brings. In talking with my partner who is a trained chef, he noted that it had likely begun life as a curry soup and that totally makes sense.
Service was nice, location is pretty, and it has a nice, laid back atmosphere - but I wouldn't come back for the food. I saw a cooler of ice-cream treats, and I'd go so far as to say that it'd be a nice place to sit and eat one of these with your kids after they play on the speeltuin. For a meal, go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very very nice place to be with children. The playground is for very young and older children. Lots of sand to play in and great things to climb in. All this for free !
For the adults good places to sit and see the children play.
In the restaurant nice drinks and good food !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to visit with kids. They have a big skate park and an outdoor playground. The menu is diverse, thus you can enjoy any meal you like. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. A wonderful outing!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to go with the whole family for an afternoon. The kids played nonstop in the "speeltuin". Good coffee. Friendly staf but inexperienced so we had to constantly repeat orders and get them ourselves. The hamburgers were disappointing.
