To move means so much more to me than just getting fit.
I started Body Quake because I wanted to better look after myself and those around me while I was recovering from a breakdown. In my work as a holistic practitioner I train my clients in somatic literacy, helping them tune into their bodily sensations and understand the messages behind them. We work together on becoming more aware of when we are stressed out, and find sensible solutions on how to counteract that state. We look for ways in which we can move better and breathe with joy.
Because movement matters. And in my work I want to encourage movement that expresses aliveness and joy. My massages, classes and events are fun, colourful, queer, and flamboyant, all the while providing a fantastic workout. Body Quake is a community hub for self care - a place where you can meet new people, feel like a part of a tribe, and care for your body and mind.

I was able to participate in two of them and i would recommend it. The trainings are always productive and also fun. Adam will make you sweat but also make you enjoy it :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended 2 of his "Sweat it like Jane Fonda" boot camp classes, and they are full of joy, fun, smiles and very professional. The pace is great, and if you need a break in case it's too intense, there is no pressure for you to do all the exercises. Adam will also make sure to ask the group is anyone has a physical condition (like back pain, knee pain, etc...), and he will adjust the exercises for you. I highly recommend this class to everyone who want a great workout, while having fun and meeting great people.

The style suits me very well with different paces through a class and some nice cardio work, if one wants to fully engage with it. If post class you need a massage, it is great to know Adam has a one-stop-shop offer.
