★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Boomker is een sieraad onder de boekenwinkels. De "voorraad" is uitstekend en zeer regelmatig zijn er bij Boomker boekpresentaties en lezingen die meer dan de moeite waard zijn. Niet voor niets bestaat deze zaak al heel lang.
 Boomker is a jewel among book stores. The "stock" is excellent and very regularly there are book presentations and lectures at Boomker that are more than worth it. It is not for nothing that this case has been around for a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit is een heerlijke, ouderwetse boekhandel, met een breed assortiment aan boeken, ruim opgesteld, een leestafel en zelfs de mogelijkheid om binnendoor naar de buren te lopen voor een kopje koffie en iets lekkers.
Ik kom er regelmatig om te kijken of er nog nieuwe uitgaven zijn die niet in de krant hebben gestaan, of die ik over het hoofd heb gezien. De filosofie-afdeling (mijn specialiteit) is opvallend ruim gesorteerd.
Kortom, loop binnen en kijk rustig rond als je in de buurt bent, en van boeken houdt.
This is a delightful, old-fashioned bookstore, with a wide range of books, spaciously arranged, a reading table and even the option to walk to the neighbors for a cup of coffee and a snack.
I visit regularly to check if there are any new issues that have not appeared in the newspaper or that I have overlooked. The philosophy department (my specialty) is remarkably broadly sorted.
In short, walk in and take a look around if you are in the area and like books.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, uiteraard. Ook goed geïnformeerd hoe snel boeken leverbaar zijn! Zij sturen snel een email als het boek binnen is. Leuk gesorteerd in moderne literatuur.
The staff are friendly and helpful, of course. Also well informed about how quickly books can be delivered! They will send an email as soon as the book is in. Nicely sorted in modern literature.
