β β β β β A great bookstore in the city centre. Very helpful people working there. Look around or just ask them for something specific. Also have writers visiting the store to talk about their work.

β β β β β Overall impression : Decent stock and variety . Knowledgeable and friendly personnel. My preference in Science Fiction could be improved and was strangely labelled as Fantasy. Surely a hype induced mistake.

β β β β β A good selection for books in English, and also has some very cute things like tote bags and socks with cute designs (perfect for christmas presents and they wrap everything for free!)

β β β β β After many years away I returned to a favourite haunt from my student days, to find a store very much reduced in size. This is of course a sign of the times and nothing to do with specifically Kooyker. The selection is still good, but part of the browsing experience, and walking out the store with some unexpected treasure, is gone now.
