Inmiddels kom ik al 11 jaar bij House of Graces. Vol vertrouwen laat ik mijn haar doen bij Petra. Zij denkt mee en geeft gerust tegengas als zij denkt dat een kapsel of kleur niet zal staan. Service staat hoog in het vaandel en zelfs een extra make up om eens uit te proberen is niet ongewoon. Iedere keer weer een uitje!
I have been coming to House of Graces for 11 years now. I have my hair done with confidence with Petra. She thinks along with you and gives you a head start when she thinks that a hairstyle or color will not stand. Service is of paramount importance and even an extra make-up to give it a try is not uncommon. Every time an outing!

Leuke plaats voor een lekkere massage en een goede gezichtsbehandeling. Goed sfeer en lekkere geuren. Ik geef geen 5 mede door de zeer gehorige pand (je kan alles wat de buren van boven doen gewoon horen. Super vervelend tijdens jouw moment van ontspanning), daarnaast de toilet alhier pas niet bij zo'n luxueuze pand (te gewoon en niet geheel fris.) Dit is echt een punt van aandacht! ...
Nice place for a nice massage and a good facial treatment. Good atmosphere and nice smells. I do not give 5, partly because of the very noisy building (you can just hear everything the neighbors do from above. Ik heb voor 200 euro een bruidsarrangement met haar en make up genomen. De make up was in één keer raak. Zag er heel natuurlijk uit. Geen geplamuurd gezicht. Het haar was in tegendeel rampzalig. Van service tot resultaat klopte er niets van. Er werd totaal niet geluisterd naar mijn wensen. De kapster had al een voorstel kapsel gemaakt - drie Shirley Temple varianten - en het was blijkbaar niet de bedoeling dat ik dat zou afkeuren. Hier had ze geen tijd voor gepland... Ook al was het voorgestelde kapsel niet eens in de buurt van wat ik voorgesteld had met de behulp van een foto. Uiteindelijk heb ik mijn haar laten fâhnen en 50 euro aan een kennis betaald om het een beetje op pimpen. Het gaf een stress waar je niet op zit te wachten vlak voor je bruiloft. De foto's van de bruiloft zullen mij deze slechte service nooit meer laten vergeten. Een het-gaat-wel-kapsel in plaats van prachtig haar.
I took a bridal package with hair and makeup for 200 euros. The makeup was hit right away. Looked very natural. Not a plastered face. On the contrary, the hair was disastrous. Nothing was right from service to result. My wishes were not listened to at all. The hairdresser had already made a suggested haircut - three Shirley Temple variants - and I was apparently not supposed to disapprove of that. She hadn't planned time for this ... Even though the suggested hairstyle was not even close to what I suggested with the help of a photo. In the end I blow-dried my hair and paid 50 euros to an acquaintance to pimp it up a bit. It was a stress you are not waiting for just before your wedding. The wedding photos will never make me forget this bad service again. A go-to haircut instead of beautiful hair.

Ik laat al enkele jaren mijn haren knippen door Jayson en sinds ik hem heb ontmoet mag niemand anders meer aan mijn haren zitten! Ik heb ontzettend dik haar (afkomst uit het midden-oosten) en het is heel belangrijk dat het goed wordt geknipt zodat alles mooi valt. Jarenlang zag ik ertegenop om naar de kapper te gaan, omdat andere kappers mijn haar gewoonweg "niet begrepen". Jayson kijkt altijd naar de structuur van mijn haar en luistert goed naar mijn wensen, ik vertrouw hem volledig. Bovendien is het altijd ontzettend gezellig en is naar de kapper gaan inmiddels een uitstapje geworden waar ik vaak naar uitkijk! Dankjewel Jayson!
I have had Jayson cut my hair for a few years now and since I met him no one else can touch my hair anymore! I have very thick hair (origin from the Middle East) and it is very important that it is cut well so that everything falls nicely. For years, I was reluctant to go to the hairdresser, because other hairdressers simply "didn't understand" my hair. Jayson always looks at the structure of my hair and listens carefully to my wishes, I fully trust him. Moreover, it is always very cozy and going to the hairdresser has now become a trip that I often look forward to! Thank you Jayson!

I really love this salon. Such a beautifull space, nice staff and so good in what they do. Always giving you more than you expect. A bit pricey but its worth it.

I had the worst haircut experience ever. The style and length that was agreed to was totally ignored and when I complained, I was told "sorry it is already cut, so there is nothing we can do about it". And I was fully charged. When I followed up with the manager, the approach was very similar and dismissal. Δ± find it quite an unethical conduct of business. It is a pity it is an Aveda salon. Such a shame for its name and credibility. Reply to reply: If it was exactly what I wanted, why would I have complained?? What exactly is implied here? Besides, I asked you -the manager- to meet up and to see it yourself and never heard back. This's what I wrote: "I insist that we have a meeting and you see my hair and the style I wanted with your eyes and decide for yourself whether or not your staff is telling you the truth. " Once again, if it's exactly what I wanted why would I make all these complaints? This is why I call your conduct as unethical. No interest in what your customer is complaining. Total dismissal, no further inquiry as you just did in your reply. Attitude of "sorry but I asked the staff, they said they did what you wanted and I do not care to inquire further as I do not care about and/or believe in what you say." Such a pity, such a shame on your part. But at least you have revealed this attitude to the google family!

I had the anti stress arrangement, which consists of hammam steam session, classic facial of 60 mins and anti stress massage of 90 mins. You are starting off with the hammam steam. First of all, the room where it is taking place was not clean and felt more like a tombstone. You are left alone there - with bright lights very quite - it had no atmosphere and not relaxing. You can take a shower there and use a steam room. The whole room and the steam room were just not clean - I could forgive the no atmosphere feeling - but it was not clean! Found few dark hair in the steam room and did not feel comfortable sitting there. After shower and steam there is no space to dress and do your hair or make up. No mirrors not even in the toilet. Facial and anti- stress massage was great!!! The lady who did that for me, was very friendly and professional. I will definitely come back for the facial. Overall the treatment too expensive due to unhygienic conditions. Far from the hammam experiences I had in the past.

Jennifer was wonderful for my pedicure and manicure. She listened to my preferences and found the perfect look for my wedding nails. The staff are friendly, and take care of you during your appointment. The location is easy to access and clean; they provide space between clients and sanitize after the station has been used. Will definitely be back!
