F	Frank Kramer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 2013 onze eerste ervaring met het boerenbed. We zijn er bij aardig wat geweest, ook in het buitenland, maar deze is toch wel de beste. In 2013 our first experience with the farmer's bed. We have been to quite a few, also abroad, but this one is the best.

Zelf je kachel opstoken (een hobby opzich) om daarna je maaltijd op de kachel te koken. De luxe van een houtgestookte hottub en een lekkere warme douche. En slapen in een normaal bed of in de hangmat. Back to basic met wat luxe midden in de natuur met de koeien voor je tent. De boer en boerin (plus fam) zijn echt gastvrij en alles gaat op een relaxed tempo. De kinderen mogen zelf op ontdekking bij de kippen en konijnen of kijken bij het melken. Kleinschalig en rustig. Wij hebben een geweldig leuke week gehad. A week without Electricity in a great beautiful place near ermelo. Miles of cycling. Stoke your stove yourself (a hobby in itself) and then cook your meal on the stove. The luxury of a wood-fired hot tub and a nice hot shower. And sleep in a normal bed or in the hammock. Back to basic with some luxury in the middle of nature with the cows in front of your tent. The farmer and his wife (plus fam) are really hospitable and everything goes at a relaxed pace. The children can explore the chickens and rabbits themselves or watch the milking. Small and quiet. We had a great week.
D	Debbie van Egmond on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ondanks het regenachtige weer hebben wij en onze kinderen (4 en 7jr) een top midweek gehad. We waren hier voor de 2e keer en wederom hadden de kinderen 'de leukste vakantie ever'. Bij aankomst waren we net op tijd om getuige te zijn van de geboorte van een kalfje. Fijne tent, goede bedden en even helemaal back to basic zonder stroom en wifi. De kinderen hebben zich geweldig vermaakt met de skelters, speeltuin en waren uren te vinden in de knuffelschuur met kippen, konijntjes en de alpaca. Ook het melken van de koeien was erg interessant om te zien. Wouter en Thea waren erg vriendelijk en gastvrij en altijd bereid om van alles over de dieren en boerderij uit te leggen. De omgeving is prachtig om lekker te wandelen of te fietsen. Wij komen zeker opnieuw terug! Despite the rainy weather, we and our children (4 and 7yrs) had a great midweek. We were here for the 2nd time and again the children had 'the best holiday ever'. On arrival, we were just in time to witness the birth of a calf. Nice tent, good beds and completely back to basic without electricity and wifi. The children had a great time with the go-karts, playground and could be found for hours in the cuddle shed with chickens, bunnies and the alpaca. Milking the cows was also very interesting to see. Wouter and Thea were very friendly and welcoming and always willing to explain everything about the animals and farm. The area is beautiful for walking or cycling. We will definitely come back again!

De ongedwongen sfeer en gastvrijheid hebben deze week onvergetelijk gemaakt ( en ook de pizza’s ) Enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended, especially with children. The casual atmosphere and hospitality have made this week unforgettable (and also the pizzas)

M	Miguel Kooreman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to stay, the people that run it are absolutely lovely. It's a working farm with a really nice camping grounds facility. Great local produce and more than enough to do. Especially good with kids. They are welcome to help out on the farm or just play on and around the property. Help milk the cows, care for rabbits and veals etc etc.

Our two sons had the best time ever: our youngest son enjoyed several rides on the tractor accompanied by Wouter and he couldn't get enough of the kids-size tractor (=go car) available on the farm. Our oldest son enjoyed the animals, the trampoline, the new friends he made... The location is great: a subtropical swimming pool close by, an in and outdoor playground next to the farm, lots of cycling opportunities ... We will come back for sure !
