★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This week temperature was arround 30 degrees Celcius so we were happy we had the last airco hotelroom. Enjoyed the sauna and swimmingpool and the private sunbathing place outside. No selfservice breakfast, because of COVID19, but being served by a very friendly waitress. Be sure to take walk in the beautiful forest the Lochemse Berg across the street from the hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like the Woodbrooke hotel located at Edinburgh just another 1.5 km down the road in Berchem, this too is a countryside hotel. In the middle of the Fiesta and nearby to hiking trails, this hotel would be great for weekend getaway.
Note that it is quite a bit away from the nearby town of Lochem, so dining options are limited to the hotel and the Chinese restaurant 25m down the road. If you have a care then town is a pleasant forested drive 5 -10 minutes away.
The rooms tend be larger than the hotel rooms in Lochem, and the restaurant, though not inexpensive, is better value for money.
Recommended for a weekend away or a business trip if you have a car at your disposal.
