★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was the only customer, and have never been treated so antagonistically in my life as I was here.
When I walked in, my bag was heavy on my shoulders and it was hot, so I wanted to transfer some stuff to a plastic bag and take off my coat. The cashier asked if it was all okay and did not even listen to my answer.
Afterwards, she followed me around while I looked around the store, looking at me with piercing eyes without saying a word.
It felt very imposing and invading, and when I took two board games from a shelf to check their reviews on BGG, she just stood there, looking at me while I was reading on my phone.
She was very pushy when asking me what I was doing and if I wanted to buy those items. I explained what I was doing, but she insisted on staying there. After this had gone on for way too long she finally asked of she could look in my bag.
Of course she thought I was stealing from the store, but just had to wait about 5 minutes before even asking me (which is very weird company policy, because I could have been gone in that timespan). When she finished looking, she even rudely put away the items I was considering buying.
If you do not want to sell stuff, do not open or run a store in the first place.
TL;DR:
A very rude cashier treated me in an unnecessarily antagonistic manner, making it seem they do not even want to sell anything.
