R	Ruben Mes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful!!!!!! Magical!!! Een van de mooiste plekjes in regio van Zeist, en dat is merkbaar aan het aantal bezoekers! In het weekend is dit een familie uitje voor velen, en wat mij betreft maakt dat het gezellig. Dit stoorde mij niet. Een aantal gebieden zijn helaas verboden toegang, ivm de rustende dieren die anders massaal onder de voet worden gelopen. Er is parkeer ruimte op loop afstand en op fietsafstand van Zeist en omstreken. Prachtige keuze voor een middagje uitwaaien in de herfst. De kleuren vond ik adem benemend. Er is ook een gebied wat verder achterin ligt, voorbij een tweede hek, en daar beginnen de heuvels en duinen, die een waar sprookjes-gehalte hebben. Helaas zijn de grillige duingebieden daar ook niet legaal begaanbaar en zult u moeten opletten op de bordjes verboden toegang om de dieren hun rust te geven Al met al: dikke aanrader voor het hele gezin! Voor de kinderen: met de tijdelijke nieuwe ingang (c. 20/10/2020), verderop, komt u ook langs een oud structuur van steun pillaren, wat mij deed denken aan de heuvels en ruïnes van Amon Hen uit de Lord of the Rings (spoiler: waar Boromir zich opoffert voor de Hobbits), en dat is heerlijk spelen!!!! Beautiful !!!!!! Magical !!! One of the most beautiful spots in the region of Zeist, and that is noticeable by the number of visitors! At the weekend this is a family outing for many, and as far as I'm concerned that makes it fun. This didn't bother me. A number of areas are unfortunately forbidden access, because of the resting animals that would otherwise be overrun en masse. There is parking space within walking distance and within cycling distance of Zeist and surroundings. Wonderful choice for an afternoon of fresh air in the fall. I found the colors breathtaking. There is also an area further back, beyond a second gate, and that's where the hills and dunes begin, which have a true fairytale quality. Unfortunately, the jagged dune areas there are also not legally accessible and you will have to pay attention to the no-entry signs to give the animals their rest All in all: highly recommended for the whole family! For the children: with the temporary new entrance (c. 20/10/2020), further on, you will also pass an old structure of support pillars, which reminded me of the hills and ruins of Amon Hen from the Lord of the Rings (spoiler: where Boromir sacrifices himself for the Hobbits), and that's great playing !!!!

E	Eline Bijkerk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of my favorite places in the Netherlands. The heath provides a beautiful sight, especially when it's blooming, and you might be visited by the flock of sheep that grazes the area. All in all, I definitely recommend going for a walk here!
