I order a croissant, they basically threw it on the counter and pushed the pin my way. Paid way too much for a soft, hours old croissant without a smile or any kind of manners. Wish I had a better experience for the price I paid.

I had the worst croissant ever from this place on Saturday morning. Paid 2 euros for what tasted like a 3 days old croissant. I literally had to throw it away because it was hard and impossible to eat.

Excellent bread, all organic. Many types of bread made the old-fashioned way with sourdough. The olive bread is my personal favourite, best olive bread ever. Also a good choice of French pastries. Great to have such a baker in the neighbourhood

Best Boulangerie in town but most of all, best Boulanger. Benoit welcomes you everyday with a huge smile and he is very kind and passionate about his bread and patisseries. It’s a must go place for whenever I’m in the area, hot chocolate is extra recommended, bisous Benoit, thank you for making my day better everytime I come by.

Their mini apple tarts are amazing! The pastry is flaky, buttery, sprinkled with just the right amount of sugar to contrast the tart of granny apples. Yum! Will def go back there for these!

As the consumer becomes ever more demanding, bakeries and patisseries are constantly striving for quality and excellence. The overall quality of bakeries in Amsterdam is very good and each neighbourhood, of which there are 26 in total, has a handful which can be classed as exceptional. In the Jordaan, Boulangerie Noé fits into this category. The main focus of a boulangerie, as opposed to a patisserie, is baking bread. The store's signature loaf has the Noé name baked into its crust and there is a good variety of bread to choose from. Located in a former art gallery on the corner of Bloemgracht and Prinsengracht, the store is a family run business, part of a rapidly expanding chain with branches at Gustav Mahlerlaan, Haarlemmerdijk and Vijzelgracht, with emphasis on using organic ingredients. The flour comes from an organic mill in the French alps. Home made levain is fermented in house to give the bread its unique taste and flavour. The establishment serves a respectable cup of coffee, freshly prepared sandwiches, flakey croissants, pain au chocolat and a variety of mouth-watering pastries, which often tend to be sold out by early or mid afternoon. The olive bread and baguettes are highly recommended.

Great staff, very lovely. The prices of the products are not cheap, they are above average. Think about 2-3 person lunch/breakfast amount cost like 4-6 euro for piece of bread and pastries are 2-5 euro. Definitely go for bread not for pastries as pastries are average I think even below, as pity they are not hot. I do need to say the escargot is nice done, but the dough is very dense, but the outer layer is nicely sweet coated and crusty. But the croissant is really below average, major factor is not being warm and not fluffy and crispy enough. Now to the main attraction the bread, even though the bread are not hot they have a delightful crispy outer layer the internal dough is very light and fluffy with nicely soft sweetness but yeast and sourdough flavors but not over ruling. They are enjoyable but pricey for what they deliver, would like to see more innovative elements or better quality. If you have something to spend and have a nice kick off the day with a nice fresh high quality bread, this is the place as your local bakery. 3/10

Good bread (with raisins and nuts), great baguette :). One of the better bakeries, maybe not my favorite, but sometimes it's worth checking out somewhere else. I will come back to test the croissants :)
