Midden in de Ten Katestraat vind je Branie.
Een plek waar de Aziatische keuken, cocktails zonder poeha en Amsterdamse gezelligheid bijeenkomen.
In Mei 2018 opende Branie, de eerste samenwerking tussen Rick Welcker en Remco Babay op de Ten Katestraat. Branie telt met de huidige Corona maatregelen 40 zitplaatsen.
Het restaurant is 5 dagen per week geopend. De keuken is doordeweeks geopend van 18.00-22.00. In het weekend van 18.00-22.30. We sluiten uiteraard netjes om 00.00.
Op de kaart staan kleine gerechten uit Azië. De focus ligt hierbij op Zuid-Oost Azië met hier en daar een klein uitstapje.

The cocktails are great and the staff are happy to cater to a special request. Great atmosphere and friendly staff make this a guaranteed great night out. You need to make a reservation to guarantee a table!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asian-fusion modern restaurant. The dishes are meant to be shared, so don’t get just one for yourself. Waiters are very friendly. I got 4 dishes (we were a couple), but, as extremely good as they all were, I have to say the butter-miso popcorn they give you as a snack at the beginning as my favorite thing, because you don’t expect them to taste so good.
Tip: order rice on the side, and mix it with the chili oil that’s on every table

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. We tried several plates and they were all fantastic. Very impressed by the sweet chicken bites.

I always get the old fashioned. It’s made to perfection and the bar tenders really know what they are doing!
As for the food, the spicy sauce is awesome i used it for everything ?
We recommend the mushroom KRC fried chicken. We also recommend the fried chicken and the chilli wantons with pork.
It’s a perfect place for data night or even with friends for a night out!
We recommend 9/10!
