★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a first timer eating Indonesian food, I had no expectations but after the meal my husband and I were disappointed. We ordered the 3 course meal at 36 euros p.p. The appetizer (chicken soup) was amazing. It was what we needed after a long day of exploring Amsterdam. The lemon was no overpowering but complimented the chicken flavour. The herbs and fried onion brings out another complexity. The main course which consisted of 8 side dishes and rice, only 3 were outstanding. The chicken satay was by far the best so I would recommend that . However the rice was to soft and no flavour. Their chicken dishes were good. The lamb was too gamy and the beef was too dry, they also had no spices to mask the flavour. The drinks (ice tea and coconut milk) were decent. The dessert was amateur presented.
The service was also really slow. If you want to sit at a restaurant and leave asap for your next destination, you might want to think twice. It took 30 minutes to get the bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, the waiting was ridiculously long. The staff were really nice but not very great at their job. There was 1 dish that was really good the (lamb satay) and another dish (fish) that was decent but other than that, everything else was absolutely disgusting. I paid 100€ And me and my wife felt really disgusted by the food. I am a frequent traveler to Indonesia and love their cuisine but this does not even come close to real authentic Indonesian food. I do not recommend anyone to try this restaurant. It is way too expensive and it doesn’t even taste good. Atmosphere is nice though.
