After my stay for an exchange semester I finally came to a conclusion. It started with a lot of technical difficulties during the application process. Furthermore they tell you what courses they offer to you beforehand, but they do not tell you if you are able to join that course or not until you get to the step of choosing a course. Therefore I ended up in a course I absolutely did not like, that course is called IMEM or Creative Business. To the teachers I can only say most of their courses can be done without them, there are multiple reasons for that, but I just felt they were, except one or two, lack luster and just there doing nothing. During their courses they were either reading from their slides or giving you a task to complete and then get feedback from the other students. To get a passing grade was not really a challenge, but somehow a lot of people still failed or barely passed most of the courses. I like the concept of working in Teams, but except for a few courses you were forced to do your assignmentsin Teams, which means if you get some desinterested or lazy people in your team your grade suffers under them. Even in some courses it was stated even though you have to work in teams, your grades will be assigned individually, but that rarely happened. The mentality of the people in my class is also not understandable, because they just want to pass at their first try and then want to do a redo if their grades are barely passing. Why don't they just try a bit harder the first time? The list goes on, but I think I made my point clear and all in all there was not a single thing I liked about that school.

It is such a great university and even though I'm an international student, I always feel welcomed and at home. The campus is simply astonishing and makes me want to go to school every day ?

I am a third year 'International Tourism Management' student at the Breda University of Applied Sciences. The projects that I have been working on were always connected to the industry. Therefore, I got a better understanding on the application of the gained knowledge in the industry. In addition, a clear focus is being made on your personal and professional development and how you have progressed during the study. Lastly, the importance of networking and maintaining them is clearly emphasized.

Good school, but besides the education the building is very nice. Good lightning, coffee machines everywhere and wheelchair accessible too.

Breda University of applied sciences and its built environment program are very nice. The study itself is very unique, and the teachers are extremely knowledgeable. The international atmosphere teaches me a lot about different cultures as well. The classes are very small-scale, which means that you get very personal guidance. Overall a great school for your HBO bachelor.

Over the last year with Covid the university has handled the whole thing in an excellent manner with superb communication and courses and meetings online. Already, my daughter was very happy with the Event Management/Social Innovation course and with the way that they adapted to Covid restrictions she does not feel that she missed out. Bravo BUAS !

If you are looking for your first step in the gaming industry, creative media and game technologies at Breda University is one of your best shots! The program is a challenging and most of all, a fun experience. Every day we are able to develop our skills and work on projects that we immediately can use as our portfolio. Our teachers are industry veterans that directly come from the gaming industry, to share their knowledge for the new generation. All of them are capable, friendly and willing to help the students develop and unlock their potential to become excellent game developers. Our program allows you to choose ( before you apply ) between three disciplines that you will study for four years. The disciplines are Visual Arts, Programming and Design & Production. Being able to specialize in one of the three disciplines allows you to study with a focus and develop towards a goal, unlike most game development educations. Overall my experience has been great and I recommend everyone who is able to go to Breda and wants to study games, to study at our program.

I am currently in my fourth year of the hotel management program. In those years BUas supported and guided me on both personal and professional levels. I really would recommend studying at Breda University of applied sciences.
