★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't review the food itself as I never got to the stage of actually eating a sandwich.
First tried to order but was met with the waitress eating behind the counter (yes, from where they make the sandwiches) and was, a bit rude, told to come back 5 minutes later for the bacon to be done.
When I came back I was first ignored for some time until I very bluntly got asked if I wanted a big or a small one. Upon asking what the different sizes of bread were, I got a rude answer about not seeing properly because apparently they were in her basket under her counter(?!?)
The food seems good based on other reviews, but I would question the hygiene as well as the service being absolutely worst class.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for crispy smoked bacon, this is the place! The Jordaan sandwich has chicken, lettuce, curry or herbed mayo, and then an amazing amount of bacon! I add cheese since it’s so tasty. The owner is friendly and charming (and he smokes the bacon himself).

I’d recommend taking a small/normal size and ask for less mayo.
