Nice place, cozy outdoor terrace. Beer is nice; though somewhat heavy on the dark beers (there's one IPA which didn't really taste IPA-ish to me).

By luck, I found this place because my wife’s employer has us in a nearby hotel. I can’t say enough about the delicious beer and kind people at Kleiburg. Between two nights, I had all of their offerings, but fell in love with the Quadruple Porter. I need this beer back in my life. Please send a case to the States as soon as possible. And when the shirts have the beer label like what’s pictured on the van, I’ll get one of those, too. All kidding aside, I look forward to returning and in the meantime highly recommend that anyone in the area needs to stop in for one or several beers.

Brouwerij Kleiburg and De Proefzaak are a combination brewery and restaurant all under one roof. I'm not sure why they have two distinct names; perhaps it is so that they can distribute their bottled beer. They occupy a long green arching corrugated steel warehouse style building. Outside is a large chipped wood patio area with plenty of wood tables with string lights and umbrellas. There are lots of square wooden planters for bushes and small trees, creating the feel of garden. It is an undeniably charming venue. Behind the building is a gravel parking lot for visitors, and it is also easy to get here by train from the city. Inside, the place has a wooden floor and the arching corrugated steel roof is overhead. Their logo is a hexagonal and can be seen in various places such as the taps. The walls have eclectic decor such as tapestries. There are skylights and a large stained glass art window between the bar room and the brewery. On the left is a lounge area with chairs, as well as several dining tables. In the center is their white tile bar with 5 stools. In front are curvy stainless steel tap towers, and chalkboards list their 6 house beers on tap. They also have one guest tap, and several varieties of their house beer in bottles. Behind the bar are shelves of glassware and liquors. Behind that is their mighty powerful small kitchen. Their food menu consists of appetizer snacks, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees, including very delicious steak. I was quite impressed at both the food and drinks. It is a true craft brewery and my favorites were their Barleywine (11%), Quad Porter (10.7%) and Tripel IPA (9.5%), all delicious. The right half of the building is dedicated to the brewery. They have a large stainless steel mash tank in front and on the left is a row of jacketed stainless steel fermenters. The back of the room is for storage and supplies. For service, walk up to the bar to order, and note that they only accept credit cards (no cash). During peak hours they also have some roaming servers who help tend to tables. The staff is cheerful and enjoys working here. This is great brewpub very much worthy of a relaxed visit.

Awesome Location, very cosy. Nice beer and food. You can have a seat inside and outside. Snacks oder a nice meal. You find everything you need. Service is very friendly and helpful but they don't manage lots of people. Very nice place to chill after a Long day.

Really a surprisingly great place. It is almost a 'pop-up' in a carpark between Ikea and Cisco in Zuid Oost. They have added a number of trees all around the outside and have a nice outdoor area as well as indoor bar & dining. Menu selection is really good, fast and friendly service and for beer lovers, it has an onsite brewery. Well worth the visit.

Absolutely the best beer we've found in the Netherlands. And the food is impressive. The triple IPA is very good, but if you want to drink more, try the zingi. Great people too. Fully 5 stars.

This place serve a hell of a beer, they have 5-6 variants and man!! are they delicious ? Yes they are and they are strong. Don't think you can gulp down beer here one by one. I was completely lost after 4, of course I had 2 of Quadruple Poorter which was monster of a beer with whopping 12% alcohol which very very unusual for a typical beer but not here. Loved the place.

Have had lunch here a few times now, and always pleasantly surprised about the quality of the dishes. Good veggie/vegan foods including a veggie burger. But for the carnivores there's good eating as well. This is a pop-up place and offers a pleasant atmosphere in quite a boring office area. Nice outdoor seating as well.
