S	Steve G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beers were amazing as always, the "Borrelhapjes" were amazing too. I'm just really disappointed with the main courses. As a vegetarian for 10 years I love the idea that a business is lowering their carbon footprint and even better if it inspires my friends to do the same. But, the food was really underwhelming. The waiter couldn't explain what the food was made out of besides "meat replacements". I ordered the Classic Burger and my friend the Rendang Taco's - both tasted bland and uninspiring. My friend, who eats meat, had the taco's and disliked them so much I swapped half the burger with him. Unfortunately the burger is also in the top 5 of worst veggie burgers I ate. According to the waiter the kitchen is still trying out what works, it's just a shame that i participated in a 15 euro experiment without knowing. Especially when there are so many good recipes and pre-bought options out there. Because this won't inspire anyone to become plantbased.

Food is decent, location is good and atmosphere is friendly and casual. We hosted our monthly Puzzled Pint team puzzle night and everyone seemed to have really enjoyed the venue. Will be back and hope to come for their Monday pub quiz sometime!

I haven’t been there since the pandemic, but was unaware that they switched to a fully vegetarian menu. Including the burgers. I’m not against having veg options, but then you have to make sure the veg burgers are top notch. Sadly, they seem to have lost their mojo, as the veg burgers don’t even come close. The beer brewery is great, and I might pop in for a beer and nachos, but it’ll disappear from my top 5, or any list for that matter. Super weird decision.

And the service was very pleasant and helpful for our English-only speaking family. The veggie burger with added jalapeños was amazing, and paired well with some local brews. Rest of family ordered a plain burger (cooked pretty raw so you may want to note that when ordering) and ribs. Both were excellent. Smaller space so I imagine on some days there can be a wait, but great spot altogether. Highly recommend.
