★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A super nice, cozy and relaxed place! We got the 5 course dinner menu and everything was super delicious. You can tell from the taste and appearance that the chef takes great care of what he offers to the customer. Dinner options may look limited in the menu but what they offer is a great experience.
Staff was super polite and smiley.
Strongly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We didn't have the best experience in this Restaurant:
1. The 3 vegan dishes from the menu are tasty but I didn't like the duck: the mix of flavours are weird. No one in the table liked it.
2. The service tried to charge us the desserts when those were included in the menu.
3. Service really slow. We needed almost 3 hours to have dinner.
4. The local was super noisy.
I would not repeat or either recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We managed to get a table on busy Saturday evening without reservation and were surprised when staff told us that some of the tables are reserved despite their "no reservation - walk in only" policy). But we got lucky this time. The staff was very friendly and the food was great; our favourites were the red pepper soup, mackrel and duck in the very original flavour combination; the desserts on the other hand were disappointing. The natural wine selection is also what attracted us to the restuarant and we were not disappointed. I recommend the place, if you are ok with its very busy vibe!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arguably the cosiest restaurant/wine bar in Amsterdam. The main focus of this place is the large selection of natural wines which you can drink by the glass. They have a small food menu with dishes that go well with the wines. The menu is seasonal and mostly vegetarian, with a some dishes inspired by classic Dutch cuisine, or containing local ingredients. The service is top-notch and you know you're always in for a nice evening when you go to Binnenvisser.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hesitate to write this but I assume Binnenvisser is an open secret. My favourite restaurant in amsterdam. Veggie dishes are just stunning. Meat dishes less so but still great. Just the perfect neighbourhood bistro. Love it

Reading some negative reviews let me feel that these people haven’t been in actually the right restaurant at all…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant, hip but not exclusive. Emmely did a great job only the menu card and not sering Coffee at The end of a meal is not what gives hospitality a 5 star ranking. Cold environment, and making some mistake in service is ok but never the less can be done better. Room to improve.
