★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking for Ajax vs AEK champions league game. Locals are here. It's a cafe on map but they got more local beer than 3 other bars I visited( who only had Heineken). 9$ Euro for two beers. And prime tv spot for game.

The food is everything but fresh. It's all pre-cooked ready to buy and heat up. Pancakes pancakes were a pure nightmare.
Plus, after seeing the kitchen you don't wanna eat there anymore. It's very dirty, the food from the day before still sticks on the grill. There was a huge dog next to the "kitchrn", making sure you get his hair in your food. Never again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Bouwman is traditional bar and cafe located at Utrechtsestraat with indoor and outdoor seating, some with canal views. Opening hours are 9am to 1am daily with extended hours to 3am on Friday and Saturday.
We stopped here recently for an afternoon break, ordering a Westmalle, sparking water and order of bitterballen, which tasted ok. Service was friendly and timely enough. Overall, Bouwman was fine for an afternoon stop for a round of drinks and bar snack.
