★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the vibe here, gorgeous space, in the heart of tourist land but beers aren't priced like that's the case. Had a good burger for €14, bit more than some spots but came with good frites. Worth a stop—note, you may need to reserve on a weekend or when the theater has a show. Most tables were reserved when I walked in at 5pm on a Friday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long walk through the Vondelpark from one end to the other, we exited and found our way to the Leidseplein Road and to the grand looking building where we found a place to have lunch. The food was really good. The service was quick and the staff as friendly as almost all Dutch. We had some coffee afterwards and just took in the people walking by. Amsterdam is a great cafe sitting people watching city. Give this place a try and them make your way to the Dam Square from there. Don't forget to go through the flower market as well. Love Amsterdam!

The place itself was very nice, as you expect for a theatre cafe.
Staff were helpful when needed upon.
Food was pretty good, everyone seemed to like what we ordered.
All in all, good experience.
