Ik kom om 12 uur binnen in de sfeervolle ruimte. Harde jazzy muziek! Ik vraag de muziek wat aan te passen aan de Cromhoutsfeer. "Ja, maar ik ben aan het opstarten, daar mag dit wel bij" zegt de dame. Dat noem ik niet klantgericht. Broodje Gebraden Gehakt met citroenmayonaise besteld. Dat moet een 17e- eeuwse delicatesse zijn volgens de kaart. Men heeft het daar over frikandellen of gehaktballen. Ik krijg twee ( goede) boterhammen met twee plakjes gebraden gehakt van de supermarkt, een paar sliertjes saus erop, pluk alfalfa, plakjes koude tomaat ( tomaat verliest in de koeling zijn smaak- dat moet men weten) paar plakjes koude komkommer erbij. Drie keer niks dus en zeker geen 17e eeuwse delicatesse of ook maar iets in die richting.

I enter the atmospheric room at noon. Hard jazzy music! I ask the music to adapt to the Cromhout atmosphere. "Yes, but I am starting up, this is allowed," says the lady. I don't call that customer-oriented. Roast minced meat sandwich with lemon mayonnaise ordered. That must be a 17th century delicacy according to the map. People are talking about frikandellen or meatballs. I get two (good) sandwiches with two slices of roasted minced meat from the supermarket, a few strings of sauce on top, a slice of alfalfa, slices of cold tomato (tomato loses its flavor in the refrigerator - one should know) a few slices of cold cucumber. So three times nothing and certainly not a 17th century delicacy or anything in that direction.
