★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laatst een keer eten besteld om ze te steunen in deze coronatijd. Echter heel veel spijt dat ik hier besteld heb. Telefonisch vroeg ik wat hun specialiteit is en mij werd verteld spareribs en saté. Toen voor de saté gegaan waarvan ik dacht dat is wel lekker veilig. Eten volgens afspraak keurig op tijd afgehaald. Patat was een beetje slap en weinig. Saté waren een paar losse stukjes (ipv 2 of 3 stokken) en een beetje taai. Zat wel een flinke bak salade bij maar kon mij ook niet echt bekoren. Uiteindelijk nadat ik alles op had nog brood gegeten omdat ik nog honger had. Voor die EUR 13,50 verwacht ik toch meer dan wat je in de gemiddelde snackbar krijgt maar dat bleek juist andersom. De spareribs die ik de volgende keer wou bestellen laat ik nu ook maar achterwege. Al met al erg jammer
I recently ordered food to support them in this time of corona. However, I regret ordering here. I asked by phone what their specialty is and I was told spare ribs and satay. Then went for the satay which I thought is nice and safe. Food picked up on time as agreed. Fries were a bit soft and little. Satay were a few loose pieces (instead of 2 or 3 sticks) and a bit chewy. It came with a large bowl of salad, but it didn't appeal to me either. Eventually after I had eaten everything else because I was still hungry. For that EUR 13.50 I expect more than what you get in the average snack bar, but that turned out to be the other way around. The spare ribs that I wanted to order next time I will now also omit. All in all, a shame

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gezellig cafe, met een terras voor als het mooi weer is en om er te roken. Er komen veel buurtbewoners en mensen van alle leeftijden, vind ik altijd een goed teken. Geen Nederlandstalige muziek, vind ik ook prima. Ze hebben er een eenvoudige maar prima kaart en lekkere bieren op de tap. Op de fles nog veel meer natuurlijk. En gezellige, ongedwongen bediening. Een aanrader ?
Cozy cafe with a terrace for when the weather is nice and for smoking. A lot of local residents and people of all ages come here, which I always think is a good sign. No Dutch music, which is fine by me too. They have a simple but excellent menu and tasty beers on tap. Much more in the bottle, of course. And pleasant, casual service. Highly recommended
