Very friendly fellow, as you walk into the bar and tell him what you feel like having and he will give you sip before you get a full glass.
If you love beer, then you got to step into this place.

The reviews that say you get half foam in the beer, yes, that is how it is intended to be served and beer glasses come with a line for the proper pour, 1/3L 1/2L etc, so you are not being skimped for beer. If you get these beautiful beers without some head on them the bar is doing you a disservice.

He was so polite and took his time to make sure we chose a beer that we liked, he was very knowledgeable and was basically keeping the whole place on his own. Very refreshing compared to the awful service we received everywhere else in Amsterdam.
