About Café Le Figaro
Le Figaro is een Franse krant, het oudste nationale Franse dagblad dat nog steeds wordt uitgegeven. De krant werd opgericht in 1826, tijdens de regeerperiode van Karel X. De krant is nu een dochtermaatschappij van Socpresse en heeft zijn hoofdzetel aan de Boulevard Haussmann in Parijs. Figaro is een personage uit le Barbier de Séville, Le Mariage de Figaro en la Mariage de Figaro en Le Mère coupable van Beaumarchais. Een Figaro is een barbier. De krant werd wellicht zo genoemd omdat men vanouds bij de kapper de laatste nieuwtjes hoorde.
Café Le Figaro geeft hiermee een knipoog naar haar Franse naam, de nieuwtjes en weetjes vindt u hier. Gezellig bijkletsen onder het genot van het prachtige uitzicht van de Waal met heerlijke Bourgondische gerechten.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was going to there on sunday, at 10:00 suppose to be open which is I check the opening time of the day. (Google maps) Went there and ask to the girl are you open yet? She says in halfen hour, back halfen hour later, saw they were having their coffee. Asks again, if they're open now?? She says no at 11:00? I thought she was making joke. But No she wasn't. Such a well located and and nice place, how can they just be so amateur. With adding wrong hourse on Google my business? Or that just stuff can just change the openinghours.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location and view, but our fish and chips was overdone and did not have a lot of taste or herbs added. This wouldn't be a big problem if it wasn't so expensive. The fish and chips cost 14,50.
Atmosphere is great, but don't go here for the food but the view!

it rained and even though we were under umbrellas, it rained all over us.
