★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick and friendly service. This time I tried the steak with garlic, still prefer the classic but this one was also very nice. I like how they keep everything on the menu simple but good quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Dutch restaurant in a beautiful neighbourhood of Amsterdam. Of course we had to try the famous steaks and were not disappointed! Tender steaks, yummy side dishes, and tasty cocktails - try the signature Rooie Bep because you won't get it anywhere else! Prices are reasonable for steaks of this quality, and definitely worth the attentive service from the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely friendly waitress and one of the best meat i’ve ever had. The gravy is delicious. The bitterballen as well.
Must go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been going to various Loetje venues for a long time. For the first time this evening we did the pick order to have at home. It was sensational. As always beautiful quality meat and the fries were still warm and crunchy when we served them! The carpaccio also gets a special mention ☺️ Many thanks from our family for such a wonderful at home experience this evening. ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is well know for its meat. The service is slow but the waiters are friendly. There is a nice veranda where you can sit, which is very pleasant but be careful you need to make a reservation to be able to sit there. The cappuccino is good.
There are also lots of choices of salads and sandwiches

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best local cafes in the central neighbourhood with an incredibly diverse breakfast, lunch & dinner menu. Was recommended to book a table here to get a real dutch cuisine experince - wasn't dissaponted - went back last week for a second time. Wasn't dissapointed as well? Very tasty juicy chicken and amazing omelette with dutch gouda. Attention: cheefs are very generous????: portions are huge - make sure you are hiding there being realy hungry and ready to "eat an elephant" ?? or with a second half??
Also, if you prefer to have a glas of wine with your lunch/brunch or dinner, non-alcoholic demi bottles of Riesling, Chardonnay or Sheraz are at hands???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice. The attention could be better, the place was not busy and even though it took too long to get the attention of the waiters. One part of the order didn't arrive on time, only after we were done and decide to cancel they brought it, although without charge which was a nice gesture considering the long wait.
Food was good but could be better for the price you have to pay. The plate with the sweet potatoes had too much potatoes and such a small portion of meat, which is sad because the combination taste really good. Definitely a must try are the shrimp croquettes, was the best thing of the whole lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my go-to’s in Amsterdam. The menu doesn’t change much, and the food is consistent with each visit. The ambience is so unique. It maintains a brand feel while blending with the local community. The Bali Steak is a must, while the house salad adds great value for the €. For bigger groups, the iberico ham and manchego are perfect.
