★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam, totally worth the ride to the north! 40€ the five course menu, with menu changing every day. Delicious and sophisticated food, really nice and friendly people <3 (They do a vegetarian version of the menu if needed)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in an old bank, this restaurant is definitely a must try! Here there's no menu, the chef decides what the 5 course meal will be, but you can be sure to be impressed!
Very nice wine selection to accompany the dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was delicious but you pay quite a lot (48€ for a 5 course meal, small portions) for the quantity you get. The wines are normal but expensive and the service leaves much to be desired, no knowledge of the wines, inadequate service (waiting to get the menu for 15 minutes or waiter not knowing what's on our plate). Luckily, the staff was very friendly, something rare in Amsterdam and you get a lot of really nice homemade bread for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The word cafe in the name of this restaurant might give you the wrong idea. This is where you come to eat. However, when my group called on the friendly staff for drinks here because the cafes in the area were packed, we were welcome. Huge plus for drinks at a restaurant: instead of the ubiquitous bitterballen we snacked on softshell crab!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simple furniture, not so simple food. I had a great 5 course vegetarian menu. Every dish was interesting and no 2 dishes were alike. The attention to detail and flavour was second to none. A very fine dining experience, highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect experience. We forgot actually we had a reservation, so arrived almost an hour late. We had some friends waiting for us though. Waiters were perfectly chill about it, offered us another round of oysters. Even got some of the pork belly that actually was removed from the menu a little bit earlier as there were (almost) out. Will definitely come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place, great food, great service/staff. However, pretty annoying that my clothes and hair had an intense food smell after dinner that even took some time and effort to get out. Also, the acoustics are terrible. We had trouble understanding each other at the same table. If they would sort these two issues out, five stars.
