★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na de gedwongen sluiting door de pandemie zijn de deuren van restaurant Bunk weer geopend. En voor ons Noordelingen reden om snel kennis te maken met dit restaurant gelegen in de voormalige Sint Ritakerk. Onze conclusie aan het eind van de avond: "In alle opzichten een aanwinst voor Noord!!" . Na een zeer gastvrije ontvangst bekeken we de niet al te grote kaart met originele gerechten. We kozen voor een 3 gangen-menu (€ 35 + € 16,50 voor bijpassend wijnarrangement) en genoten o.m. van een heerlijke tex-mex taco, bijzondere Franse uiensoep, een pittige rendang en fantastisch yoghurt crumble toetje. Tussendoor kregen we van gastvrouw Katarina een korte rondleiding door de prachtig verbouwde kerk. Bunk beschikt ook over een gezellige bar en terras buiten.
After the forced closure due to the pandemic, the doors of restaurant Bunk have reopened. And for us Northerners reason to quickly get acquainted with this restaurant located in the former Sint Ritakerk. Our conclusion at the end of the evening: "An asset to Noord in every way!!" † After a very hospitable reception we looked at the not too large menu with original dishes. We opted for a 3-course menu (€35 + €16.50 for a matching wine arrangement) and enjoyed a delicious tex-mex taco, special French onion soup, a spicy rendang and fantastic yogurt crumble dessert. In between we were given a short tour of the beautifully renovated church from hostess Katarina. Bunk also features a cozy outdoor bar and terrace.
