★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dit is een heel mooi middeleeuws kerkje dat wat hoger in de lage polder ligt. Ik was hier in december 2016 bij een begrafenis plechtigheid. Het is intiem, er staat een piano, er is een klein balkon en het ademt een serene sfeer. Het is niet heel groot, dus geschikt voor een niet al te groot gezelschap.
(Als het tegen die tijd nog verhuurd wordt, zou ik willen dat men hier van mij afscheid zou nemen.)
Echt een prachtige locatie. En goed bereikbaar.
This is a very beautiful medieval church that is a bit higher in the low polder. I was here at a funeral ceremony in December 2016. It is intimate, there is a piano, there is a small balcony and it breathes a serene atmosphere. It is not very large, so suitable for a not too large group.
(If it is still rented by then, I wish they would say goodbye to me here.)
A really beautiful location. And easily accessible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Markante toren in het vlakke landschap. Vreemd uitgevoerde kopieën van de grafsteenteksten bij graven. Een klein bordje zou hebben volstaan en niet de aandacht hebben weggetrokken van de originele stenen. De reden waarom zoveel mensen met een Duitse naam daar zijn begraven wordt niet gegeven. Dat zou het nog interessanter maken.
Striking tower in the flat landscape. Strangely executed copies of the tombstone texts at graves. A small sign would have sufficed and not have drawn attention away from the original stones. The reason why so many people with German names are buried there is not given. That would make it even more interesting.
