★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being seated, given menus and told the specials the waiter tried to radicalise me and my date and, in turn, convinced us to join ISIS. This wouldnt have been so bad but we never got to try the much talked about apple crumble.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gastro-pub par excellence, from way before this term was even coined. I dare say the best pub food in Maastricht. Cozy and beautiful terrace hidden in the suburbs. Huge selection of beers, lots of different wines by the glass. Very relaxed atmosphere. If you haven't been: go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This little restaurant is a gem in the middle of the university area. The food is fantastic. There is a wide assortment of cuisine, including specialties for vegetarians and vegans. Warm and friendly, the service is great. Clearly this is a local favorite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice presentation of food, nice atmosphere, local people in the pub, fresh good beer on tap, but the menu is very wide which indicates that not all of the dishes are done fresh. My veggie burger (probably from freezer) was well done but the cofta was not fresh and I felt heavy on my stomach later. But I will come back and try something else!
