Good cafe on the edge of Utrecht City Centre. Friendly service. If your glass is empty they ask if you want a refill. They know how to run business. ;)

Classic Dutch watering hole, and I mean that in a nice way! The place feels old with lots of dark wood. Great service, good beer. A nice little hideaway in the city centre of Utrecht.

Awesome cozy pub! The owner and the barkeeps are all super friendly! It's near Utrecht Central station so don't be surprised if the place is usually packed!

It was very busy being market day. Took a long time to get served once ordered we had a long wait for the food. Which was two bowls of soup!!! In fact my son had to go back to Utrecht and he arrived there after getting the bus and train before we had our soup. Soup was very nice just a shame it took so long

The oldest pub in Utrecht has character, including its owner. It has been "always" there and it feels like it always will be. The kind of place where everybody knows your name. Beers, dark wood, finger food.

On our way to the station we wanted to grab a few last drinks. We went to this place. The opposite venue (gegeven paard) was a bit too static. This one -pub style- suited better. Quite busy on Friday evening. Some limited dancing possible. Friendly bartender. Very convenient : a guy walks through the place with his PIN machine so you don't have to stand in line every time to order a drink. Very close to the station , the ugly side entrance to be precise, via such an ugly tunnel footpath. Already ugly already for decades, discovered it still is. I guess good place for people watching on their small terrace also.
