Blijft ook na meerdere bezoeken ontzettend indrukwekkend.
Remains incredibly impressive even after several visits.

Opdat wij nooit vergeten.
Followed the hiking route to Camp Vught via the app 'Knooppunt Vught'. From the moment you walk into the forest at 'the hut' I already got the shivers. Knowing that the same route was taken 75 years ago by two family members, but they were not allowed to leave this impressive place. Very moving place to reflect in peace on what happened here. When I turned my back on the monument and was able to walk away along the long path, a grateful feeling prevailed for everyone who fought for my freedom. That we will never forget.

Indrukwekkend gebeuren.
Impressive event. The 1st monument was irreversibly daubed by vandalism at the time. The old stones are still in the crates, see the attached photos for this. These are stored in the Vught camp.

If you realise what happened here you will be silent. In memorance of over 300 Dutch citizens, the place was raised in 1945. On the 4th of May, we remember those who died in WW2.
