Maar bij het betreden van deze locatie kwamen er toch de rillingen. Mooie monument, welke nog lang haar werk moge doen.
Opdat wij nimmer zullen vergeten.
As an old Limburg hunter, I am quite used to commemorating places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ plek waar je zeker eens heen moet stappen na bezoek aan het kamp . De stilte en de natuur helpen zeker om eens stil te staan bij de gruwel . Voorzie wel stapschoenen want de wandeling is wel 4 km door het bos vanaf het Monument Kamp Vught .
place where you should definitely go after visiting the camp. The silence and nature certainly help to reflect on the horror. Bring walking shoes because the walk is 4 km through the forest from the Monument Kamp Vught.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer indrukwekkend om te bezoeken. Neem even plaats op een bankje en kijk naar alle namen. Ligt midden in de Vughtse Heide, prachtige omgeving.
Very impressive to visit. Take a seat on a bench and look at all the names. Located in the middle of the Vughtse Heide, beautiful surroundings.

Als je het gedicht" De achtien doden" van Jan Campert leest, snap je waarom.
Very impressive! A reminder of the horrors of World War II and the people who resisted the oppressor. She paid the highest price: Their Lives.
If you read Jan Campert's poem "The eighteen dead", you will understand why.
