★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been using them for a few years, they are comfortable and confident treating rats (as well as the more typical pets like cats and dogs). Always very efficient and friendly, evening appointments are available. All the staff are happy to speak English as well as Dutch which is a plus for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very upsetting experience with Caressa Amsterdam Centrum Oost. The day after our cat Boris had to undergo a serious procedure on his teeth i was called by a Caressa employee for a follow up conversation. At certain point the lady asked me if we have already started giving painkillers to the cat. The conversation was taking place at 09:51 in the morning. I said that i was not sure if that has already happened , since my husband was taking care of that. I was not at home to clarify this. The lady was very rude and implied that we were deliberately not giving our cat painkillers even though we knew he was in pain. She than underlined that painkillers should have been already given in the morning. I found this accusation to be very shocking. This conversation was terrible and made me feel very bad. After giving a quick call to my husband it turned out to be that OFCOURSE medication was given to Boris. We always had good experience with Caressa and find the staff in general to be very friendly and helpful. But after this conversation i have no desire to deal with this practice anymore. These kind of people should not work anywhere close to customer service or animal care. For the amount of money we spent on the whole experience (460 EUR) i would expect a more professional care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ works on appointment. caring , professional staf. Careful, your ill old kitty might not make it out alive: they also euthanize your kitty in a humane way. mine was 17. today I'm making an altar for her where i can burn a candle.
