Carmo repaired a damaged unit I sent them ,all new inside, its heavier than old ignition.
When starting its better ,at high revs its definately better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! took me 5 months to get back from them a dashbord that I sent for repairs. Total lack of communication, they never answere the phone or emails. Dashbord was never repaired, never work with them again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After finding my FZ1N Engine ECU damaged following an ill advised fitment of a sub standard ignition coil , Carmo Electronics with the help of their agent in the UK repaired the unit in super quick time at a fraction of the cost of a main dealer replacement. I feared the bike dead but its as good as new. recommended without reservation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Kawasaki ZZR1400 developed a starting problem late last year (2020), and initial investigations indicated that the fault might lay with the ECU.
I sent the ECU to MotoMatrix for fault diagnosis, and they reported back that it was indeed faulty. I was undecided whether to get a replacement ECU, but decided to send it to Carmo Electronics for repair.
Before undertaking a repair, they perform their own diagnostics checks, and it turned out that the ECU was not faulty. Thus I was only charged for the diagnostic check.
I re-installed the ECU, and the bike still would not start. The only factor remaining was the Acumen Cat 1.1 alarm/immobiliser that was supplied with the bike. I removed the unit and...THE BIKE STARTED!!!
So it just remains for me to say thank you to Carmo for their professionalism in this matter. They could easily have concurred with MotoMatrix in order to earn more money from a repair. Top class!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a road trip in Ukraine, my 30 year old bike (Africa Twin) broke down with a failing CDI unit. After some intensive work of Carmo, it was possible to send a new replacement CDI to Romania in just one working day. Express delivery by UPS was not possible in Ukraine so we had to pull the broken bike to Romania. After this adventure and some UPS issues, we were able to collect the new CDI at the UPS depot at the airport.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got an ECU flash from Kevin for my 2014 M1800R BOSS EDITION. I'm very happy with his job. She runs much better, has much more low end torque, much smoother to cruise arround and more power. Don't think to flash your ECU just do it. Its worth every penny.
